Is it just me or is the little 1/18 classes and small r/c's getting popular?

They are really getting popular. Once the Jammin is out even though it is 1/12 scale im sure it will get more popular

I think they are getting popular because they are small and do not need a lot of space to run as well as better quality than the crap at Wally World or Toys R Us. Also easier for younger people to learn on. I bought a micro T for my 20 year old son so he could have some around the house without having to find a track, find fuel or any of the other stuff that kind of makes nitro harder to mess with.

I use to race my RC18T (still have it) at my LHS. Every Thursday they had parking lot oval races.

Some electric micros with brushless go around 75mph.
Another great thing a like about them is that if I break a chassis on one it would cost $6 AUS but if I broke a chassis on my 1/8 buggy $250 AUS
