Free Virus Scanners?

For the last 1 - 2 years I have been running a free virus program called AVG which will run out in 1 1/2 months. What programs does everyone else use? Has anyone heard of Spydot?

I've been using AVG too. It's been so good I'm considering buying the full version. It's only $30.

My mom has used a bunch of the free antivirus programs out there, but they dont seem to work as well as the software you pay for.

Ive been using Panda Platinum for 2 years now and NEVER had a problem...but its expensive. I let the woman pay for it...lol
