help!!! kyosho GT2/novarossi 35 plus .21 set up

Hi i recently bought a kyosho Gt2 , and anyone who is familiar with these RTR kits knows that the stock GXR28 engine it comes with is a nightmare to keep tuned and its performance is not worth all the headaches. Because of those tuning issues and lack of performance that I'm looking for, I picked up a new Novarossi plus 35 .21 engine to drop in and the guy at my local hobby shop said it would fit without a problem, but it seems that is not the case. im having an issue getting the engine to line up with thw holes in the engine mounts. does anyone have any experience with this type of set up? or any suggestions? If you haven't figured it out yet, check to see if the case of the motor is rubbing the rear shaft, may also be a different motor mount? If you got rubbage, break out your dremel and make some room.

I have a conversion GT built up off a 777 so everything was a direct fit up for the .21. No 2 speed yet, takes a chassie swap.
