These are just simple tips on proper ways to store and handle your RC car nitro fuel:
1. Never leave your fuel bottle uncovered. Always secure the cap back on the fuel bottle.
2. As the level of fuel in your nitro fuel storage bottle lowers, squeeze all the excess air out of the fuel bottle till there is no air space left in the fuel bottle and replace the cap.
3. When you are outside with your nitro fuel storage bottle keep it out of the direct sun, to lessen the greenhouse effect. One way to overcome the greenhouse effect is to store your rc car nitro fuel in a metal can.
4. Leave your main supply of rc car nitro fuel at home. Only take with you the amount of fuel you think you are going to use.
Invest in either some quart or half gallon containers. You could purchase some nitro fuel in quart containers and keep reusing them. Refill them out of your main fuel supply.
5. Store your main nitro fuel supply somewhere that has a constant temperature, no extreme temperature changes, out of direct sun light.
