If you have the opportunity, look for someone at a flying field on a sunny day who has a jug of fuel that is only ¼ full. What you may notice is that there are droplets attached to the top and sides of the fuel. This is the moisture in the air that is condensing inside the jug because of the greenhouse effect of the semi-translucent plastic jug. One way to overcome the greenhouse effect is to store your fuel in a metal can.

True. I read on the net before that plastic is better as you can squeeze the bottle so there is no air inside

Air is bad if it gets sun on it creating condensation. But with the metal or tin no sunlight can get through and it is alot cooler.
I store mine in a plastic jug, but tin or metal is better

So if I was to buy it in a plastic container and buy myself a empty metal container, i would be better to put it into the metal container?
Cheers

plastic is better, but plastic like the o'donnels bottles. its white so it doesnt get hot, and it can take more abuse than a metal can, ive had a 2 speed hyper 7 powered by a novarossi pile into my o'donnel bottle at wot... and apart from a large skidmark the only damage was a dent that just popped out again.

You dont think metal is durable? This wasnt abot what is durable it is about which would be better at keeping your fuel safe
