Ok I got everything off but theres like a big ball thing that screws into the end of the a-arm... Well I cant figure out how to get that thing out because theres nothing to grab onto to hold it still.... Its the one that goes into the thing that holds the wheel on kinda???
Hopefully you all can draw out my noobie description...

You use a allen wrench to take it out, if you look on the outside of it at the wheel side you will see a 6mm hex hole in a metal piece, use a 2.5mm( I think) allen wrench and go thru the 6mm hole and you will feel the hole in the pivot ball, just back it out like a normal bolt!

Cool! I see it, I knew it had to be sumthin simple. I took the first deal out and i didnt see the other wrench inside the pivot ball.
We were out bashing around eastman earlier at some old Domtar plant that closed down and I was jumping off of this 5 set a lot and there was a pot plant before the stairs and I ended up hitting it because I pretty much lost it from all the snow on my tires.

But hey, no pain, no gain, sounds like you guys are having fun. Thats what counts the most. You guys are making want a basher, but I think Ill be building a touring car first. http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c392/rong423/Smileys/secret.gif

Yeah we both broke somethin. He broke some little thing that holds an A-arm pin on on the back of his truck but luckily we have alot of them and got that fixed. Then we went back out and played around some more. Lasted about 10 minutes till I broke my A-arm and something happened to his brand new Venom battery, but I've never even liked those battery's when I was into R/C boats.
But yeah we are having fun but we are still figuring out the last little tweaks in Troy's truck..

THe cold would not have mattered in his case, 30 or 130, even if the A-arm was made of titanium. He went full bore down this walkway and hooked his right front on a very heavy concrete potted plant at near full speed, about ripped it off the truck! Cold or not something had to give.
In my case I think it was the cold, I mis-judged a curb and slammed it head on and broke my REAR A-Arm mount, then my new battery died after less than 10 mins. I wonder if the cold affected it too?

Yup cold batteries preform poorly.
