LIPO info needed!!!!

Just wondering..............

Getting ready to purchase a couple of Li po packs. My question: WHAT "C" rating will I need using a brushless system? I've seen MANY 15c, 20c, 25c, etc. I remember when using a Lipo in a starter box, you wanted the HIGHEST "C" rating possible! Just wondering the same or not in 1/10th scale Offroad!

I've seen the SMC 4000mah, 20C packs.

Probably a 3200 mah or more, with the Novak 5.5 system.

I know the 3 cell lipo, 2800 mah in my 3PKS will last for almost 2 weeks of weekend racing. ALL this lipo stuff is NEW to me.

I traded Dominator 52 (J.C.) the RB ws7 for the novak GTB & 5.5 for the T4!

A 3200 20c lipo will put out 64 amps which isn't much, most companies recommend 100a minimum and in 1/8 scale 125a - 150a minimum so the esc/motor get enough amps and not go up in flames. If the battery doesn't have the C rating it is easy to work out just MAH x 0.0C so 3300 x .020 = 64

I just won 2 30C Hyperion 5000 mah 7.4V lipos on ebay! The burst on these are 60C! They both even have balance leads & deans connectors! I SHOULD be good to go for a WHILE!!!
