I found a guy looking to trade a mbx6 to a mbx5r. Is the 6 that much better? Never ask him why?

I sent him pics of my buggy and the parts. I have a crap load of parts for the 5r. Just waiting on his pics of the buggy and parts. He is in canada.i found this deal on rctech. He is wanting 150 to boot.i guess that isn't too bad if the car is decent and has a few spares.

you need to be careful trading out of the country. i did that one time and got burned.:shoot:

the 6 is leaps and bounds better than the 5. The biggest thing I can tell is the steering. This cars got way more throw at the pivot balls where the 5 didnt. Yes you can get the 5 to turn but you gotta run light diff oils and a loose rear to get it to rotate. This make it hard to drive out of the groove.
I keep waiting for somone to instal x6 front hub carriers and cvd's on there x5 but Ive not seen it done yet, Ill bet the x5 turns better........:D

I was looking at the front hubs and pivot balls. I believe they are aluminum which would be a substantial reduction in weight but didn't know if they would fit.

the 5 and the 6 are two different cars that for sure!
the 5 you could drive hard and had to drive hard to make big jumps and keep up
where the 6 is losiish you sit back relax and let the car do it thing
the only problem i found with the car was the fact that the set up was never the same no matter what i try to do ever week it was diffenrt

I have 2 Caster zx-1.5r's. They are alot like the mbx5r and many parts are interchangable. I did put the x6 hubs on one and I worked the stock hubs on the other they can both out turn any x6.
