Seems everyone is know talking about a AE Buggy.
This was just taken from Neobuggy.net "So last week Associated's general manager Cliff Lett, appeared on RC's premiere Radio show - RC Racin' Radio.
After Maifield let the word out; Cliff Lett confirmed that Associated are making a 1/8 Buggy. The one and only Doc Love interviewed Cliff; however he kept quiet on any definite release date, but said "You won't have to wait 2 years" (referring to the 2008 Worlds)."

They have been designing the AE buggy long before Losi ever thought about making one.

That is what alot of people are saying but no-one has any proof of that. AE bought out the Monster Truck before Losi bought out the LST but i never found the AE MT to be very popular. I still haven't ever seen one and not many people talk much about Associated MT or even just AE. Even when the RC10GT2 made its debut it wasn't as popular as I thought it would be. Maybe AE just aren't coming up with nothing new or exciting  Would be nice to see a AE Buggy though

Every time I think of A.E. comming out whith a new car, I'm reminded of the NTC3. It's been around for how long now? I've had two of them, great cars, and still competitive to this day. I'd be very pleased to see them enter the 8th scale buggy market, seems to be the biggest part of RC racing. Although, I just finished building my brand new 8ight...
If they do "one-up" Losi...I'm sure it will have been worth the wait... ;)

AE tests there stuff at their secret Area 51 track with a covered fence so you can't see. I'm guessing when Ryan Maifeild or another one of the AE Team drivers is allowed to race it there will be pics all over the interweb.

Ryan M. ran the Jammin' instead of the TTR last night at the first race of the AZ RC Pro Point Series. Someone told me that he will be running the Jammin' until the AE prototype shows up.

i know this thread is kinda old, but i don't know if i'd say the RC10GT2 isn't popular, as it is dominating all over, just like the original GT did, and more and more people are starting to get them.
