Yeah, going to leave that in for a while. Smaller engine means less fuel consumption which means for bashing time

Also sanded back the muffler and painted it cast alloy. It came out better than what I thought it would

Wasn't a big fan of all the blue all over the REVO. Hoping to one day get the Vantage Carbon Fibre chassis.
Im hoping that i will get my new engine and a few more parts by mid august.

Still got a lot of stuff to buy for it but due to renovations around the home, don't really have the money at the moment to spend on it

Finished breaking in the engine today. Went out to test it out, started it up and within 1 minute I realised something was wrong, it wouldn't come off idle, so i made it come to me and i ran to it while having the brake on while the engine was running a peak RPM and stopped it. Had a look to see what was wrong and the screw that was holding the throttle horn part on the engine decided to ran away somewhere.

Ended up finding a screw to go in place for tempory use. Went out again and the power is insane comparied to the 2.5R. Ran 2 tanks through and the glow plug was burn't up. Also noticed that i tore 2 of the boots on the driveshafts. Starting to get fustrated with it. :nono2: I wasn't even jumping or anything and I snapped a rear skid plate :evil:

It's a revo, allot of power in a small truck, it's bound to happen lol don't worry mate I'm sure if you replace everything you broke with stock parts they won't brake again, the os should not do that to a revo, keep in mind your driveshafts have been on the truck for however long you and the previous owner had it and the boots are only thin rubber, you really have nothing to worry about.
