Looking for a good cheap 1/8 scale buggy for beating around my land.

as a basher the CEN is up there with the better of the choices.

major factor for me when choosing a buggy is parts availibility, if a local shop has them then its always better than having to go online every time you need to replace something!

Look, i had a CEN, BUT it was a 10th scale...It brke when i went down a gutter!

I have heard some people about the R2 and some say there good and some say there bad, i think there more a bashing car...

This is the car i have, except mines a Pro EVO, this is a RTR...WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMMEND ONE OF THESE!

or you could get the pro EVO, but that comes with no engine or radio ect...

The local hobby shop only stock parts for the tmaxx and the revo. It's a small shop and the other nearest is a hour and half away in the twin cities. So I guess I will half to order anyway.

CEN, can be good, but there iffy, i wouldnt buy one...

For the money you will not find a better car to bash with than CEN, they are very durable. That being said that is the main reason they are not bigger on the pro scene, durability means they are made with heavier, thicker materials. A pro wants his car to be feather light which is where Losi is 1st, but with that being said my boy is a Pro racer and runs the Losi 2.0 and he replaces parts on his car every week and sometimes between each qualifier, they're just not very sturdy. A friend of mine owns a hobby shop and said he loves the shock towers on the Losi because they snap like twigs and he sells them left and right.
If your racing and have money for parts get a Losi, if your bashing and want durability get a CEN !!
