I have an RC18T and a Mini-LST.

I use to race my 18T in a parking lot oval until they stopped racing. It's pretty durable right now but I plan on getting aluminum shock towers and the Reedy Mini Mod 17T for it. I'm gonna get an Aluminum 18B rear shock tower so I can put a wing on it and make it a truggy. But my buggy is my real baby so that comes first, when I have a little extra moola I'll get all that.

I use to have a XXX-4 with Novak SS5800 Brushless motor and all it pretty much did was sit there spinning the tires

nice! Welcome to the forums.

To post like kaos you need to have the pic upload to a host and know the url of the pic.
Example: Use our nitro gallery at the top on the navbar and upload your pics. Then go view your gallery and you will see the urls for the pics you uploaded under them. During a post you will see a yellow button that looks like a little picture, click it put in the url and bam your pic. Its easy if you try it. Good luck!

I'd say that my XXX4 G+ will put up one hellova fight against my jammin. In fact, i'm willing to bet that it probably accellerates faster, just doesn't get the top speed. I also have a Factory Team RC10T4 and a Factory Team RC10TC4.

electric is definatley better than nitro. the maintenence is way less, you don't have to spend $60-75 to try a different set of tires, you never flame out, you never have to worry about clutch bearings, stabbing yourself in the hand with a screwdriver trying to get your clutch shoes off the flywheel also gets old real fast. and aside from the maintenence end of why electric owns nitro, the racing is more of a challenge. the setups are way more crucial, as you have to worry about getting the right shock pistons to go along with the oils, as well as deciding to run a drilled or non drilled pistons. then you have to find tires, compound of tire, and a traction addicive, and if you choose the wrong one, it could be the difference of 1st or 5th. the racing itself is also more of a challenge, 2wd is a whole different animal, way more precise, and with a 5 minute race, you better not make a bobble, because you don't have another 15 minutes to make up for it, electric rewards better, cleaner drivers, and especially in the stock class, where it is even for everybody, it's all driver. and sure, some people will *************** about the money, but, you buy a $300 dollar engine every couple of months for your nitro cars,right?

I think the cost of nitro and electric are on the same level. Battery packs, motors, brushes...it all adds up to about the same I think, there have been arguements all over other forums about this and they all say it is around the same.

There is something about the sound, smell, over nitros I like. I would like to get an electric for fun at SRS once in awhile, and the Cactus Classic but the cost is too much.
