Has any one tried Torco Race Fuels. I know they are well known for the fuel they supply for 1:1 racing and they have now started producing RC Race Fuels in both 20% and 30%.

The Mill had a gallon on it. It goes way deep and I won't bash them unless they don't make good by Monday.
Just if you run Torco put some on your fingers and make sure their is an oily residue on them before you put it in your tank is all I can say.

Dave Jardin,
I told you what to do to get this resolved and you didnt want to do it! I told you to get me the motor and I would get you another NEW one instead you sent it off to have it rebuilt and I didnt even know about that untill this morning, I have been waiting 3 days, You call me and appoligize your butt off and i told you I would take care of you then you bash me online?? Get it strait dave, you have 8 gallons of a 1500 gallon batch, the other 1400+ gallons are fine my local guys and other guys ran it this week and they ran great. You said on other forums that you have called me??? I didnt receive a call from you and if you did call you DID NOT leave a message thats for sure. I tryed working with you but you have been very difficult thats for sure and your posts prove it.

This is a current picture of the one I used and another test product after sitting outside today. Notice the dry crispy rings on the left one.

This one shows the other test product on the left and Torco out of a totally different gallon on the right. Neither are drying and leaving rings like the other Torco had done.

Some things just make you go HMMMMM!!
By theway I decided to call and file a claim with UPS and they are not very happy at all about delivering leaky Hazardous Materials and are coming by the house to check it out...

Well Porky you can call it what you want. I didn't say all the fuel was bad I said the fuel I used was not any good. Of course there is some good out there But myself and some others have had problems with it. That's what it was about.
Cater Racing, well I knew it would come to an end becouse of voicing what had happened but I would do it all over again just becouse of Principles. But I will continue to drive my Caster Buggy and Truggy as they are great cars.
Getting the money back. I wish I would have never had the problem and need my money back. $50 a case plus shipping to my door. Now I have to pay almost double for fuel but I know the fuel will be good and is not in test phases.
So go wash your face there is some brown stuff stuck on your nose.

Photo's were aken around 1pm today.
Just for you Porky.
I started this evaporative test 3 days ago with equal amounts of fuel out of 3 different containers of 2 different products. The one on the left is the one I had put in my tank the center one is a fuel I was useing previousely and the one on the right is the same manufacturer as the first but from a different case.
I find it interesting how the one on the left has been evaporating faster than the one on the right and but they are the same fuel just out of different cases. I'm still wondering where the oil in them are at. But after today or tomorrow all 3 should be totaly evaporated so I can measure the oil content in each.

Well Dave There it is it looks like you got a bad Gallon of Fuel!! That Sucks !!!! It Might be the only Bad Gallon you got But Who is to know ??? Hopefully Torco will learn from this and make it up to you. While no company or person from that matter is perfect. All of the Rc Fuel manufactures I am sure have some kind of Qc department and Hopefully This wont happen again!

Dude The Fuel in the Middle is Great Fuel !!! If you look at the First Pic you can see all 3 Glasses and as they start to evaporate off all that remains is the oil which is what you see as the yellow stuff in the middle glass and lack of oil in the left glass As far as the Right glass you would see the same thing as the middle glass if there wasnt so much dye in it

Dave what is the oil percentage of both the Prime and the Torco Fuels ??
Dave D
06-23-2009, 07:03 PM
Torco is suppose to be 11% total oil content which 9% is (100% synthetic) and 2% is castor.
As far as Prime I am not sure what oil content it is but I will let you know when I find out. My guess would be around 11%+/-
Dave D
06-23-2009, 07:13 PM
Here is today's photo's. The one on the left has totally dry and you can see the seperation of the oil and Nitro and the one on the right has what looks to be about the same but it is not as thick as the middle one.

http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/1373/1007542.jpg (http://img291.imageshack.us/i/1007542.jpg/)
Nothing will even pour out and this is the one I had used.
http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/3383/1007543r.jpg (http://img25.imageshack.us/i/1007543r.jpg/)
It's a blurred shot but you can see it nicely. Gotta love that golden oil.
http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/2636/1007544.jpg (http://img14.imageshack.us/i/1007544.jpg/)
And the second Torco
http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/3688/1007545l.jpg (http://img10.imageshack.us/i/1007545l.jpg/)
Not much evaporated today so I may mix it up to let the air get to the nitro and hopefully I will have oil only tomorrow.

I have written the engine off. It is creating too much drama even for me..lol
I'm picking up a Mugen Ninja with under 2 gallons on it that has just been refreshed with con rod, wrist pin and clips and then a new in the box Werks Racing Team Line B7 Pro-C .21
$200 for both. I'll get them on thursday morning. All the partsfor the Plus 4 are on order and may even be in by this weekend also but I'm going to see if they will pay for the parts if I send my old ones in.

It may be the amount of Castor Oil in each.
Not total castor+synthetic

I asked Steve for a quart of torco to try for free because of what happened to Dave. He makes a lot of promises never stays to his word. His word is as useless as his fuel. It pissed me off because he basically was calling Dave a liar. Instead of taking care of buisness. Bad customer service gets around fast in the nitro community. :nono:

he shafted me also ...he promised me a case of fuel for door prizes at our Blue/Gray race and kept in contact with me about it untill about a month before the race and then he wouldnt return emails , Pm's or calls ....That tells me alot about him and the company .......
