O.S .21 VZ-B Spec Issues?

I was reading on another site about all these people that have problems with the O.S .21VZ. Must say they are lucky to get 2 gallons out of it. Has anyone else heard of this?

yes i have never run one but heard they dont last. But the run great! get a ninja!

I know guys that get amazing life out of stock vspecs. The way they are broken in has alot to do with it...also, there was a time when the vspecs went out with bad rear bearings and that caused alot of motors to bomb. Supposedly the problem has been fixed and if you have a problem with the motor OS will warantee it, usually no questions asked....

One of the guys went from a vspec, to a 04 hot mod P5, and now runs a Ninja. He likes the Ninja best because it has a very smoooooooooth power band...unlike the vspec or P5 which are more like a light switch. The P5 has a harder bottom and is a little smoother than the vspec overall, but the vspec has WAY more topend...

I will have to ask Ryan how much life he gets out of his V-Spec. He ran one at the nats but I'm sure he chucked it right after that race.
