Ive had both and prefer the hard coated. I prefer a hard coated pipe over the standard polished...it stays cleaner and they are a little more durable overall.
Jammin pipes are the toughest around, money well spent for a pipe cause it will out last a standard pipe...but when it comes to power and mileage there are better pipe choices. Namely the Mugen 1005, and the NovaRossi 9886. Both are excellent pipes on bottom and top, and you can tune the powerband by changing to a longer/shorter header...but they are polished pipes, cost alot of money, and are not very durable. There is a guy thats hardcoating the Mugen/Ninja pipes out of his garage for a fair price...going to track him down and hit him up when I buy my next pipe.

I was impressed with how the polished pipe held up though.

My pollished pipe gets dinged up too easy. Hard Coated.
