The savy X is a killer MT. Nice truck.

When I first started playing with these cars, my wife thought it was kinda neat and she put up with it waiting for the novelty to wear off. So when I got a oportunity to get a used RTR T2 for cheap, I grabbed it and brought it home as a surprise. I cleaned it up, put some modern electronics in it and set it up for her....she drove it once:( ...but its partially my fault. On that fatefull day I hit her in the ankle at about 3/4 throttle with a 10x1 D6 powered T4 with the RPM wide bumper....ouch!!!! What toped it off was when I told her 'It wouldnt have happend if you werent standing on the track' ...I guess it wasnt the right thing to say:D .

Now that its become a obsession, she has really grown to hate it:( .

Yes the Maxx motor mounts are weak I would have expected better from Traxxas. The last time it broke he had just put it back together and took it out for a run and just rolled it over trying to climb the curb.
My boss's uncle might make me one out of stainless just a bit more beefy we'll see how that goes.

My Daughter.s truck needs a steering knuckle the screw stipped out of it It has aluminium ones must have been weakend by her running into a wall ful tilt twice this was it second run since the rebuild from the second wall insident.

The Savage X so far is indestructable the only damage done was minor and caused by full tilt into a tree with one wheel (one upper and one lower controle arm both replaced $10 bent shock and bent dog bone both straightened). This truck has bee through 10 times more than the other two

And the name of this site is fitting I have 2 more Axis Buggies on the way one is a parts machine and possibly another Savage X

Hi my name is Andy and I'm a NITRO ADDICT LOL

Yeah, i don't even like Traxxas Transmitters. That is the problem when it is a family thing, you have to find all this money for spare parts

Cheers
