What brand/tread/compound do you like most? Why?

I like Panther Komodo II's in soft best. Seems to work well as an all purpose tire at all the tracks I race at...as good or better than Crime Fighters. Soft KII's dont last as long as M2 Crime Fighters, but for me they hook up soooo much better its worth the loss of life.

Panther KII's soft/med compound or Proline's Crime Fighters in M2. I don't think the KII's hook up as well as the CF's but they last a lot longer.

Too bad they don't make holeshots for 1/8th scale buggies. If it's high bite clay, I'd prefer foams. Personal favorite, Anything that hooks up the best!

Knuckles last pretty long. They don't hook up really great here but I use them as my practice tire.

Scoobie,
Those Gator's look real close to CF's.

I use both Komoto's and CF's at the moment.

Knuckles work good on blue groove tracks. If there is any loose dirt or dust on top, they dont' work.

I just got a set of panther KII soft tires on my buggy and ran them for the first time last weekend, worked out pretty good for me. I have a set of CF's in the hard compound, I might as well drive the damn buggy on ice! Those POS tires do not hook up anywhere.

I’ve got Crime Fighter’s m3, Inside Job’s m3, Knuckles 2.0’sm2 and Step-Up ‘s m2. I think on most tracks I run on the m3 crime fighter’s work best but they do were out quickly. I spend around $250 a month on tires when I am racing every week.
