Offroad fo' life foo...unless there was no offroad track to race at, then I would give the oval a tryTrust me Scoobie it dose make you DIZZY. I stay after off road races to watch some of the carnage here. Its a whole lot easier to stand at the end of the track than in the middle. It feels like you have been watching tennis all day, ACCEPT without the hot chicks in short skirts.

I got to drive a latemodel last week, it was OK. If I ever did go oval, it would have to be in a latemodel cause thats true OVAL racing. Everyone else is just BASHING IMO.

Like Scoob, if it was my last resort I guess I could get into it. If I did though, I would just try and be the dirtiest driver I could. From what Ive seen, its pretty HACKY and there are very few here who make clean passes.

Besides, Its oval and If you have seen one lap, you have seen them all!:rock:

I race both oval and offroad, i just wanna race! lol. I do prefer offroad over oval, i think its more challenging! But i do enjoy racing oval too!

dirtovalonly-I have ran on the oval track at rescue! The first time I ever went away to a track was with a buddy that races oval...it was the first play day of the season in '05 I think??? It was fun, but not for me.

Offroad is the way to go. Your car may go faster on the oval but its no were neer as quick im not cuttin it :thumbs:but it is the way it is if ya want to be fast in offroad you must be quick.You oval guys spend all day preping the track and we run on what the track gives us . If its all out speed you want your still not that fast try onroad or drag:D

well it appears that rc racers are just that, rc racers.
the oval guys are dedicated to the round track
and the off roaders to the off road track. but if necessary they
would switch to stay rc racers. the sport is strong and not fragile.
as for myself i must say i went for the offroad at panther and stayed for the oval at Panther, Family, H&H and Outback. and would switch back to
offroad if i had to (groannnnnnnn, i hope that day never comes) :D.

Try racing sedans and 12th scales on a carpeted road course...now that's a blast!
