Ive heard of no-returns on opened items, and no cash back returns (gives store credit in return), but to flat out deny you anything and be a ass about it...thats just bad business

You know Z3us, I understand you wanting to keep the peace, but nothing has come close to getting anywhere near out of hand.

When any shop treats a customer in that fashion, the public should know about it. And IMO the scourned customer deserves a 'soap box' to vent on...if NitroAddicts is the soap box, I think thats great!

It wasnt wrong for ccspimp to post his experience, it was wrong for the shop to treat him and his mother that way. But there are always two sides to the story, and if the guy from Boys Toys wants to come in and defend himself, let him.

Besides, you know I like a little drama! It keeps things interesting:rock:

+++1000 i agree with scoobie on this one this would be no diferent than buying a part and having bad deal on ebay or one of the other boards here kinda like feedback you would hope people would want to know about it so they could be cautious about dealing with that person

next time call rc compound or visit them you want have that probemRC Compound is the nicest, most stocked shop in E. Tn. IMO. I wish ya'll were closer. Ya'll ought to set up shop in the Tri Cites, Ya'll would OWN the shops around here.

Its alrightChris, I hate to say this but, if you drove more than 5 miles to save 2 bucks, you really didnt save anything. With the way gas prices are. Still though, thats not the way to be treated. And while Im at it, its ok to be a dick to me, but dont get red with my mom, cause Ill rip your head off or die trying.:nono:

REMEMBER this and alway support the shops that support there customers. There is a HUGE void in the TriCities as far as racer support goes. If we ever get a place like the RC Compound here, racing will flourish IMO. The Compoung gets it, but its a race shop by racers, for racers. I wouldnt call it a hobby shop, Its a race shop!:winner:

If I owned the shop, I would have, at the very LEAST matched the other shops price. But like you said Matt, 2 sides to every story. Actually, theres 3.........my side. your side, and the truth. I had to say that!:blbl:

But you all are right nothing was made up even close that that yet and ccspimp13 did nothing wrong but speak his mind. I guess we do need the other side of the story before i go editing stuff.
