Help with my rustler..

Hi, im kind of new,
i just bought and os.18 max
for my nitro rustler.
and then i found out it
will not fit
with the parts that i have now.
does anyone know
what i will need to get
this running?:confused:

The old engine i had was a trx 2.5
the new one is a os.18 max, and it wont fit

Why doesnt it fit? Will it fit in the engine mounts? Is it hitting something? If so what?

i was wondering if the crank shafts are different standard or threaded

i know the OS 18 will drop right into 2.5r spots on revo, and tmaxx i wonder what the issue is with the rusty ??

shouldn't be an issue, you probably just need to work it a little harder. I know the 2.5's can sometimes be a *************** to get in or out as well. You might need to pull the trany to get the engine in first.
