The ball bearings in the pinion gear assembly carry extreme load. In some rare cases the rubber seal of the 13x19 bearing which is installed in the bulkhead may become dislodged. To prevent this we suggest removing one seal on the inner bearing as illustrated.

Please ensure proper servicing and regularly lube the bearing with grease. We suggest to use the HUDY Bearing Grease (#106220 Grease; #106221 Grease - Extra; #106222 Grease - Premium).
