Well as I have already posted I need a new clutch. What would be a better clutch for a 2.5 rustler and what would be a good gear setup for masher 2000 on the rusty?

I beleive that robinson racing sells a steel clutch bell for the rustler, and you can use their steel spur gear if you want more durability

I looked at the site and they dont have rustler stuff but they do have tmaxx stuff so I might try that because it is the same engine.

I got mine at the hobby shop.
Maybe he doesn't have it in stock, but he should.

Just my 2 cents on steel spur gears. I put a steel spur (70t) on my rustler with a 2.5r and it distroyed my new clutchbell. I went back to a plastic spur and haven't had any problems since.
vw dude: I might have missed it, but what engine do you have in your rustler? I was using 70/20 gearing and now am using 70/22. I had regular mashers with chains for the winter and even with this gearing I was still doing wheelies with the tires spinning. For the street I am considering going to a 64 or 66 spur and 24 or 26 on the clutch to keep the wheelies more at-bay.

MIP makes a really good replacement clutch that isn't to expensive
link for it below.

I did get it working. I have a 72/19 going and it works fine and they are robinson racing products. The spur gear is metal and hasnt hurt the clutch yet. Also the shoes were too bad but I will get some new ones in a day or 2, I think they have the MIP ones.
