does anyone know how to strip the paint from a lexan body? ive bought over 6 boddies allready, and after every bad crash i get spidered paint..i wash the bodys real good..i use the right paint..pactra r/c car paint..i dont know if maybe i should use a wate based paint since its more flexable....beats the shit outta me...but back to the first question...how would i strip the paint off without damaging the body itself ?

Ive been told that brake fluid will strip off the paint...never tried it, but my source is very reliable. Now dont use brake cleaner (like alex did...lol), it will melt the body. You can also sand blast old paint off, but it will leave the areas that end up unpainted (like windows) cloudy...

You can post pics by copy/pasting the 'BB code IMG' link...

Yep lite layer's let dry, some kind's of paint Flo.,Pearls have to have a top coat of a different kind of paint.
I always wash the bodies and then use alcohol to wipe the body down before painting
