R/C Racing NEW Topic on RaceTalkLive.Com & 1490 “The OutLaw”

Rural Hall, NC (April 3, 2005) – Chuck Hall, owner/operator of AM
1490 “The Out Law” and www.RaceTalkLive.Com based in Hampton, VA is
ready to take the hobby industry to the next level in media coverage.
Beginning Wednesday April 12th, 2006 8pm (EST) R/C Race’n Radio
presented by the RC Pro Series with host Doc Love and will be flanked
by co-host Chris Smith. Love and Smith will broadcast the show live
from the well known hobby shop, King R/C, located in King, NC and can
be heard in the Hampton, VA area on AM1490 “The Out Law” as well as
live on the internet www.racetalklive.com. Danny Southard will be the
programs field producer. R/C Race’n Radio will start out as a one hour
program with weekly reports from Carlton Epps on the RC Pro Series plus
the show will tackle issues in and around the entire R/C racing scene
interviewing factory pro drivers, manufacturers, track owners as well
as celebrities in motor sports who have an interest in the world of R/C
racing. Listeners may participate with the program by calling in on
the toll free studio line, 877-899-RACE (7223) or IM the buddy
name “RaceTalkLive” on AIM. Mike Myers and his web site, www.sgrid.com
will be the official web site in support of the program.
Doc Love has been involved in the Hobby for 16 years and might be
better known for his announcing style than his driving skills. Love
has served as announcer for countless national R/C events at King R/C,
Sandhills Raceway, and for the past 2 years at The Farm II. “R/C
Racing opened the door for me to sports radio. I have done some pretty
neat things in radio, from the Hooters Pro Cup Series to Winston-Salem
State Football and it all started from announcing R/C races. I am very
honored to be involved with the first ever R/C racing show on sports
radio and to have it broadcasted live on the internet, I truly believe
this program can be instrumental in keeping the R/C racing scene
healthy and growing” said Love.
Chris Smith began R/C racing in the mid 80’s and continued winning
national titles in R/C oval racing on various surfaces, dirt, asphalt,
concrete and carpet well into the 90’s. Smith has been apart of King
R/C for 18 years.
