running temp for a 2.5 traxxas

what is the temp supposed to b at for a traxxas 2.5 i have a tmaxx and i cant get it to run very good it gets up to 300 and i shut it off any help tuning this thing would get great:confused:

turn the high speed 3 1/2 to 4 turns out from shut. and make the low speed needle flush with the inner surface. thats pretty close to factory settings.

if its cold out you need it runing richer. don't confuse steam for smoke when it gets cold here in MN
