I got a smartech touring car and the engine is horable. It takes forever to start and when u do get it started it hardly goes anywhere. what do u think it could be? I think it may be the piston or it could be the clutch. Help please

once it starts, is there alot of fuel coming out of the pipe?

too rich can cause it to stumble and not hardly run which is why the question of is there lots of fuel coming out of the pipes. Too lean can cause it not to run properly too though.

Hey man I'm sorry you even spend money on that crap but if its giving trouble just get rid of it, don't spent any money on it just get a real nitro car.

come on be nice,
why spend a grand, and a month later find out that you don't like the smell, up keep, or whatever, a couple hundred bucks would give you the same sample but at a fraction of the cost

I didnt think he was being mean...he was just stating a fact. You can spend $200 on a smartech, or other facsimile and if youre lucky you will get a month or two out of it before its done...or spend $350 on a name brand RTR and be much happier in the long run.
But as long as hes got it, he may as well use it up! He never answered my question, so I dont think hes been around...

I wasn't being mean but I do want him making the same mistake I've been seeing on alot of forums where guys spent the cost of a new brand name car( Kyosho FW-05t ) on that crap and think the hobby is no fun.
So stay in the hobby man but get rid of the car for $270 you can get a kyosho FW-05T.
