There are quite a few really good painters out there. How much and how long are determined by how exotic you want the paint job, and the amount of customers the painter has. For a extremely involved paint job you should expect to pay anywhere from $80-$150+ the cost of the body. But most will run in the $60 range. If the painter is any good, then he will be busy and there will be a wait...but dont rush him. They are like any other artist, and their best work is done while 'inspired'.

If it doesnt turn out well, then most painters will knock the price down a little. But keep in mind, there will ALWAYS be flaws...no matter who the painter is. They all make slight misteaks here and there, but most are usually unnoticable in web pics.

Here are some examples of some of the better known paint slingers in the RC industry

Funny you posted that, it's one of the locals pro's at our track.

Czech-it-out stuff is amazing but is kinda of pricey and he takes a little longer then most painters I hear. But if you want a really nice looking body def talk to him

no, I dont have a whole lot of free time, I just know where to find them quick! Copy/paste is a life saver...plus it was a sunday!! It took me about 5-8 minutes to put it all together...I spent WAY more time putting up the pics in the lost coast thread
