I have been into cars my whole life and since I wasn't old enough the own or drive a car, my parents bought me a R/C. I have spent approx $6000 all up over the past 4 years :?

a need to take things apart... i just wanted something i could fiddle with an watch the results... in the last 3 years ive spent over £5000 on the hobby, and have had 7 rc's in that time. also a mate had a tamiya truck an driving that up an down his garden was a great laugh :)

ive had a kyosho pureten ep to start, then a nitro MT then a losi xxx-t and xxx-bk2 then the savage, a hyper came and went, then another savage.. im now looking at a leccy road car, nitro road cars are too easy to break lol and my local tarmac track isnt big enough really.. so leccy it will be, may go brushless with it :p

I started in 1984 with a Tamiya Grass hopper and sold it to buy a Hot Shot. I would bring them to the track when I raced MX and BMX and just played with them. Once I quit MX because of injuries I some how got hooked on RC's to race instead.
I don't get hurt any more.. 8)

Most tracks are like that. Not many younger people like me are in the hobby

I remember when Losi had the Mini-T comp, the kids were doing just as well as the older ones
