View Full Version : Good Deal For Buggy?
a mugen mbx 5. it has the updated 5r front end. the only thing it needs to be a complete 5r is the longer shocks. i will sell as a roller or everything but radio
200 for the roller, 400 with radical 621p engine(new rod, new boca bearings), jp1 pipe, jr9000t steering servo, hitec 5996tg throttle, 1 set M3 bowites, 1 set ms panther k2's, 1 set of soft panther stingers.
I'm looking to buy this buggy. Yall think this is a good deal?
Thanks

$200 for the roller is good in almost "r" form. $400 is ok if you want all that stuff with it. I would do the $200 and take the other $200 and buy my own.

I think $400 is a good deal for artr...it would cost way more than the extra $200 to put all those parts on it. Hell the servos alone would cost you MORE than 2 bills...if the stuff is in good shape, go for it.

" new rod and bearings" ? What happened when the old rod and bearings went out?
how old are the servos? remember, new JR servos have a 3yr warranty!
old servos can seem great today and give out tomorrow!
you WILL buy your own tires reguardless!
My point is: every time I have bought used stuff I always end up replacing it with new stuff or the stuff I really want anyway. 200 for the roller sounds like a good deal to me! If you can be patient, and save some dough to complete it the way you want it, with fresh new stuff that will have a long life for you, that would be great. I would stick with the roller. Motors and servos are a tough thing to purchase used in my opinion.
Anyway , I don't think you can go wrong with a roller as described for 200!
