So, of all the different truggy's out there who likes/prefers what? The heavy hitters are:
-Mugen
-Losi
-Kyosho
-Jammin.

Who prefers what and why?

I have to vote Losi.
I just got it going and have only ran it once so I really don't know how it'll hold up, but so far I really like it. :D

After driving my Losi 8ight and seeing the 8T's in action.....My vote is 8T.
One of the locals was running last weekend and that truck was just dialed! They turn on a dime and accelerate like a rocket! Very nice trucks.

mugen. gorgeuos truck, awesome diffs, and the best shocks I have ever built. parts quality is second to none, and the truck is easy to drive, and just plain fast

its clearly the mugen right now. the losi buggies are doing very well but mugen's are taking the cake in the truggy class. they even do awesome at dirt oval races.
A team mate and I ran dirt oval with our mugens last week and finished 1 and 2 with em. the other guys where saying " what can we do to catch those mugens" cause we were turning way better than anything on the track. and i believe the mugen is cheaper too.

well the 8T showed up today. I think i'm going to stick with it because i already own an 8 and so many of the parts cross over. only difference is arm, driveline pieces, and thats it. I'm going to be putting in a RJ mods Axe Rossi Mamba.

Anyone going to the Proline Race in baning this month?

The 8T is almost done. Radio tray and servos installed. Engine and other goods tonight. The stock tires look pretty good. Only one downside...the factory glue job was horrible. Oh yea, and the center diff was leaking b/c the screws weren't tight enough.

i have own ever truggy out there so i go with the hits and miss
the jammin x1crt
very led sled like imo
dose not jump well
and has not steering the push king
wears out like hell

the mugen 5t
steers great
tough truck of them all
gear wrong imo
needs big bores

the losi
wears out as fast if not faster then the jammin
is hard to be consitant with take a flashlight driver back ground to do so
breaks shit left and right the rear hub pins bend like chesse
hard to tell any diff in set up

the strr
the king of the show
has to much steering
has great traction can be pushed hard ever where
reactes well to set up changes
who cant love the big shocks
the front arms and castro blocks do break but if you boil the front arms there good to go and run 22 deg castro blocks your fine

Having an ST-RR and my son having an MBX5T, Either of those is awesome. but I gotta agree with porkchop on the Kyosho, it seems the harder i push it, the more planted it is.
