Hi! I'm considering buying a truggy. I'm kinda Kyosho guy, so the Inferno ST-R is my favourite. What do you think of this truggy? I'm new to offroad cars, is it difficult to build? I've heard of some diff issues, someone know about this? Other tips and tricks welcome...

The diffs are fine, its the ring and pinion that have some issues, but the problem is casued by operator error during the build. You dont want to shim them like a buggy diff, because of the spiral cut gears. They should be shim them as tight as you can get them, without creating a bind. You want ZERO backlash and ZERO side to side play, then after about a gallon or so, go back and reshim them so there is ZERO backlash...Ive got a opportunity to buy a barely used STR, with ALL the Fioroni upgrades, and enough spare parts to build another truck...still deciding.

Short answer. No.
Even if it had a CD it is still a monster truck. And it wouldn't be very competitive.

As far as running a Revo with the truggies, at Family and Panther they were run together unless there were enough to break out into separate classes. Don't know what the rules at Outback will be, maybe Josh will post up something.

Hi, guys! I will receive my ST-R in a couple of days, and I'm considering buying the longer chassis conversion kit and a Proline Crowd Pleazer body... Do you think the body will fit the car when the long chassis is installed?

NICE!! You got it!! The long chassis conversion will make a dramatic difference in the handling.
The stock body will work, but you will have to trim the back end a little. According to Ryan Lutz, the new extended body should be available in August.
