Hey Guys my little brother has a Kyosho Inferno Mp7.5 and it had some problems with its old engine stalling and over heating.. So I put in my madforce engine as it was just laying around and is the identical engine into the inferno and tried to run it but it had the heating and stalling problem..

My engine is sealed (Carb and backplate) and I even stripped the carb into pieces and then washed everything with alcohol and fixed it.. But still no difference..

I checked the fuel lines for cracks, bending on corners and etc..
I tried with the stock pipe but no difference..
Tried tuning it in everyway possible but still the same ************ing problem..
I took a fuel line directly through from the tank to carb without through the filter even..

My only doubt is the savage clutch shoes which I run on the inferno its two savage teflon clutch shoes with stock savage springs (.25).. Because thats the only different part that my brother runs on the inferno.. Maybe the clutch doesnt disengage fast enough??!!

It stalls when I let the throttle off when Im near a corner ..

When this engine was In the madforce (its a Gx21 stock Inferno and Madforce engine) it was the easiest and best running engine I had , never over heats, stalls , starts with maximum 3 pulls after not starting it for weeks..

Heres a video which shows the engine stopping in the last part:

Here are two photos of the set up:

Fuel Line looks bent after the nipple of the filter but it isnt..

Definately check the drivetrain...even if it rolls smoothly, you could have a bad bearing thats binding once it gets hot. Also check the tank itself for leaks if you havent...

try bypassing the fuel filter, I had problems just like this for a bit with my novarossi, and I took off my fuel filters(after I had done everything else), and the problem went away. I later inspected the fuel filter and noticed that the O-ring had cracked, which let air in the fuel line, causing the engine to lean out
