On rctech.net onroad is double as popular as offroad but yet there aren't any on-roaders on here

Cheers

I wouldn't mind to do it, love the realism but I wouldn't have a clue how far away the closest onroad track is. Probably 5 - 6 hours

Cheers

I just became a "on-road" guy. I got my stater box yesterday. My NTC3 arrived today. Now all I need are a couple of batteries, install my radio and I'm set. Hope to have pics by the weekend.

Finally got to the track today. The car was fun and fast. But on road is soooo different then off road. It's a lot less forgiving! No gun and run here. It's smooth on the trigger and the wheel. I feel there is more prep work also. Overall I think I will like it. Just need a lot more track time.

On-road is a lot more technical if your going to race in my opinion but from a bashing point of view its easier i find than off-road.

i find i damage my buggy more than my 1/10th on-road because im more tempted to launch jumps etc... but bashing in a car park gets boring a lot quicker than bashing on my local track.

Man, I LOVE on-road. We did have some organized parking lot racing, with protable pvc track for a while. Ive owned 2 Serpents and an MtX 3 but sold out since there are shops around here who support it.

yeah i know what u mean man on-road is a blast!!!

i've been pretty keen on getting an RS4 18SS to get into some car park racing as well cos thats pretty much my only local option over here but i got re-infected with the off-road bug so im gonna stick with that for the time been.

r/c's are having a bit of a resurgence over here.

If there was in onroad track in town I would most certainly own a on road car. Looking at purchasing a Kyosho Inferno GT down the track to have some fun in on road. Next town over (1 hour drive) are looking at building a onroad track.

I love on road racing we race 1/10 every Saturday and Im now tryin to introduce the guys to the inferno GT.
but onroad is 70% prep and 30% skill.

Kyosho all the way I drive one of thesehttp://www.kyoshoamerica.com/pictures/kits/cars/31365/31365-01l.jpg

man the scale realizum of these thing are the BEST IMO! and the speed is just the icing on the cake! I love off road, but if there was a track around here I could be pretty satisfied.

theres heaps of onroad electric near me which is pretty serious stuff but i still love my nitro.

but who knows the XRAY T2's and 007's are getting pretty cheap now so u never know i might go over to the dark side lol.

I raced onroad when they had the carpet tracks in Alcoa. I wish someone would have a nice carpet track to race sedans and 12th scales. I still have all my cars.

I heard of the place in Alcoa but never made the trip to check it out. I assumed it being carpet, it wasn't built to run gas cars, and I was not gonna drive all that way just to look..

I love 1/10 onroad racing but I've now started to push 1/8 GT race its even better.
Thank you Kyosho for the inferno GT, race on the track then slap on some buggy tires and bash in the park.

I am a wanna-be on road guy. Just too $$$ and no place to run close to home.

I built an HPI Nitro RS4 18ss kit just for kicks..... although I have not had much time with it yet. ( more of a parking lot basher than a race vehicle ) - but looks killer, and should be a lot of fun.

I have high hopes that in the future there will be a local on road track to run on, although probably indoor and carpet. ( no RS4 action there )

On road is super fast and super demanding of your driving skills.
One bobble and you can go from 1st to 6th in the blink of an eye, and you will not gain any positions back unless someone in front of you makes a mistake. - or that's how I see it from just watching.

Looks awesome though.... and I would love to try it !
