A very common mod for fuel mileage.
Dual fuel filters + More Fuel line = More mileage.

Another pit tip about fuel filter is to use a small one from the muffler back to the fuel tank. Just to double check that no dirt goes back into your tank

my thoughts exactly... the only thing that longer fuel line will do is give more running time if you roll over. so you dont have to run as fast if you have a bit of a spill lol.

That and you might get a few more laps. depending on the size of the track.

i can't really see how more fuel line gives more capacity neither.when you fill a tank you don't fill the fuel tubes.you will asways put in the amount that fit in the tank.

Yeah and the engine drinks as fast. If this were true the engine would be leaning out allot but it isn't true sorry to burst your bubble but you won't get any longer lap times but if u flip there will be more fuel in the lines to run longer :)

When you are racing, you do your warm ups right? Then 30 second before your heat or main you refill your tank and then there is more fuel already in the lines. That will get you a half a lap or so and can make a difference. I run 2 fuel filters as well.
But the best way to get more mileage is to run Sidewinder fuel and get your engine modded for better fuel economy.

OH well that is cheating LOL if u run your truck dry it ouldn;t help at all btw more fuel filters and longer lines doesn't give u more runtime unless u filled it up and there was allready fuel in the lines

Is'nt that what he just said? :?

but tank capacity mesured in sanctioned racing INCLUDE the fuel lines....pro use 2 fuel filters to avoid flameout on the lid.
on a side note that too i don't really understand.at some point when you're on the lid air gets in the fuel lines.when put back on all 4 there will still be an air bubble trapped in the line and when it reaches the carb it can still stall the engine

Yes you are right. But that is why after being on your lid some people will give it alot of gas and try to get that air threw the engine as fast as possible so it will not stall.
