i had a suspicion for awhile now that the stock tank leaks veryslowly on my TMAXX ive tryed zip tying it but to no prevail, any other ideas to fix it or to replace it, if so what would be a good tank for the TMAXX

take the tank off, blow in one of the lines, plug the other fitting with finger, i bet the o-ring on the tank lid is junk, just buy a rebuild kit, they are cheap, like 6 bucks or so

its leaking at the bottom fitting my cap seal is perfect

buy a new tank they are around 14 bucks

I cracked the tank of my savage it was a THIN crack.. I cleaned it with hot water (to send all oil off) and then covered the WHOLE area where the leak was and more with the silicon I sealed my engine with.. And wow no leakage signs at all...Its ugly and thats the only problem.. But I personally dont care as I only bash!

If it is stuffed you are best off just to buy a new one. They are only $12.99

i found my solution to my leakin tank i took the nipple off the exhaust then cut the leakin piece off the bottom outlet and screwed the exhaust nipple on it and its golden again i dont know why traxxas just dont make them that way in the first place. as for my exhaust im lucky to have another lol
