Anyone got trick to keep ballooning down? I see people put duct tape on the inner tire to prevent this. What do you guys do?

any woven tape will work, but I like packaging tape instead of duct tape...its lighter and just as strong. BUT Ive never done it on my buggy tires, only on my truggy...the buggy tires dont need it.
A little trick I learned from Kendall, is if you have tons of sidebite and are having trouble traction rolling, you can cut the outside rows of pins at a 45* angle to loosen the car up a little. If you still need less sidebite, you can cut the inside rows too...

this is an old trick and i am sure you already doo it... but put two 1/16 or 1/32 (somewhere in there) holes opposing each other in the center of the tread (at 12 o clock and 6 o clock), This lets out unwanted dirt moisture and air pressure out of the tire wich will help the bollooning of the tires, somehow the dirt finds the holes (this also helps keep the tires balenced)

I do the venting in the inner rims. I wonder what works best?
Holes in the tires or the rims?

hole in the rim is what lets dirt/water into the wheel and there is no way for the water to get out. If the hole is in the tire, anything that may get in, will get slung out due to centrifical force....

I have holes in the middle of my tires and when I start my buggy up after washing my tires the night before you can see the water fly out of it.

try automotive goop on the inside of the tire just apply a layer of it when this glue dries its like rubbery ,and i think it might work so your tires dont expand just make sure the glue is evenly applied and you shouldnt have to worry about balance  ....
