what is a good runnig decent powered engine to run in the mugen mbx5-r that won't break the bank but lack power

Hands done the Ninja B01. The thing will run with my P5 on bottom and has a crazy top end. Plus its Mugen too!

Os V Spec Or The Ninja Are Both Good Motors For The Mbx5r .the P5 Is Also A Very Good Motor,any Of These Three Will Get You In The Winners Circle For Less Than $300.hope This Helps.

There are some really good 3 port motors for less than $200. The Novarossi n21bf, the Werks Team Line b3 and the NEW OS budget motor (forget the name). They all run awesome, and with the saved money, you could get a extra pipe (or two cheaper pipes).

thanks for the info guys. i think i'll be going for the mbx5-r with the os v-spec. i've already got spectrum radio and reciever wnd the airtronics 359 and 360 metal geared digital servos from my revo. now i just need a pipe.

for the v-spec, a OS 2050 or 2060 would be best. JP2 or 3 would be a good second choice...
