what to get

looking to upgrade to the buggy world. could some one tell me the differance between the mbx5-r and the mbx5 prospec, also what are some thoughts on the new losi 8 and the jammin

MBX5r is the new updated mugen. There are some changes to the car, but not sure how much has been changed. Its a great car.

MBX5 prospec is the previous generation Mugen. If you dont mind driving a older car its also great.

Losi8-different than any other car on the market in design, also drives different than any other car on the market. Great car, but still working on throttle servo failure issues (its more than a spring coil bind).

Jammin-almost a exact replica of the Kyosho Kanai 2. Drives great, only complaint from most is it wears out at a rate similar to other ofnas.

The Hyper 8 is a great ofna car as well.

There are alot of changes on the MBX5r vs the MBX5. If you are racing the buggy go with the "R" if your just wanting to run with buds or bash you dont need a $700 buggy.
