Never thought of that and the ones by racer edge seem to be made of some sort of material.

Its similar to neoprene. I have the Racers Edge 1/10 socks...didnt like them. I would try the new Outerwears socks if I could get them in a solid color...I dont like the graphics.

use a ballon first to see if you like them they werk for a vew runs.:thumbs:

I believe both brands are made from spandex or a simaler material. Drit still get though them.

Weither or not they look cool would be personal taste. I wouldn't put them on a racer. But have a set on one of my bashers. Solid black ones, I think they look OK.
